My Dream Vacation

I have always wanted to travel to the Hawaiian Islands. However, I knew it would never happen until one day I was a contestant on wheel of fortune ! I hit the jackpot and won the grand prize ! You guessed it a trip to Hawaii !!! After I checked into my plush 5-star resort, I hopped on the first cruise ship available. I had already changed into my swimming suit so I could snorkel and scuba dive. I swam among the dolphins the billowy jellyfish and multicolored coral. When I got back to the beach, I built sand castles and lazed around catching some rays. To end the perfect day, I watched the lavender, gold, and pink sunset while I feasted on juicy pineapples and coconut shrimp. After a wonderful nights rest in the king-sized bed I slipped on my bathing suit and headed for the beach. First, I slathered on sun screen and rented a board, a life jacket, and lessons for beginners. I paddled around in the shallow water until I became brave enough to stand up. My legs quivered like jello, and the surfboard wobbled and tilted. After some practice, I headed out to the big curl “Wipe out! ” Better luck next time. The waves washed me to shore. I’ll try again another day. In the evening , I attended leis and wavy grass skirts. I danced the hole to the music of steel guitars, and ukuleles, and drums. I feasted on pig roasted on the spit. Men threw flaming torches in the night sky. At midnight, I walked under the moonlight on the beach by the shore. On the last day of my awesome experience I attended the brow bowl. The tickets were included in my prize package. I took care of the ” have to ” chores like going to the bathroom and finding my seat beforeĀ  standing in line to meet players and collect autographs. My next stop was the expensive snack bar. I purchased a sweet, bubbly sprite, and crunchy nachos. The game was tight ,but the AFC came out on top 37-36. Returning to the hotel , I bought souvenirs for friends and family with my prize money. All good things must come to an end just like my incredible vacation. Maybe next time I’ll go to Greece .
